Rolex and other watches as a form of investment diversification?

for me it is those rare production like double red, paul newman, LV, etc that would be worth investing.

On the contrary, a Patek isn't usually a great investment. The time window for investment would be very long.

Rolex is a better investment.

A steel daytona may be a good investment. As would probably the recently replaced GMT Master-ii 16710 or the Submariner 14060M.

Those that Triton has suggested are good. That is, if you can afford them. The double-red SD probably costs more than a daytona.

I won't mind a Double-red but considering that RSC won't touch that piece coz it's to expensive...I shall not touch it too.

i have only knowledge for explorer II. the price for explorer II has double within the last 10 years.

i remember asking HG around 1999 when i was contemplating an Explorer 2 black, was told price around 6k iirc.
