        • no one can predict because consumers demand varies from time to time.

watch is not considered as an investment tool. this topic has been discussed many times.

            + 1

The best investment is your satisfaction gain by purchasing the watch that you chose to buy . However good keeper the Deepsea challenger is, it'll mean nothing if you don't like the design or the old age of the watch itself.

              • Maybe you can search for Rolex owned by famous people... of course, you need to prove it in order to earn $$$ from it...

                • Most would say Daytona. But I personally prefer Subs.

                  • the most important thing when buying a watch is to buy it cos you like it, it can be a timex or a patek, doesn't really matter.
If you are lucky, you make some after years of enjoying it.
Else you can keep it until the day it stops moving unless some reasons arise for you to sell it at a loss.

don't think of $$ when buying, else better don't buy

                      • Not sure if anyone has posted this before. As the famous Swiss manufacturer slogan goes, "you never really own it but merely looking after it for your next generation". Then, I would say you are buying watch as investment. Haha.

Hello bros, just wondering which sports model should i get. i'm thinking of buying a sports model for long term usage and understand Rolex Sports can be good investment for decades down the road.

Of all the Sports models, If you had to choose 1, which would you go for and why?

                          All advices welcome!

                          Thank You.

                            2) sub c date ss

                            • I've researched quite a far bit on the Internet and seems that Daytona SS is great for investment as it holds its value very well.

                              • Best investment > Take it from me in 10 years time it WILL be Deepsea ( if u keep in 9/10 to Mint Condition ).

Daytona is a given for popularity... but it's only marketing, hype and Rolex purposely producing so little to maintain the "Aura of Daytona" thats come from the Auction Value of Paul Newman Daytona's and a few other's.... sure they maintain value, but as my friend who sells Rolex says: "The Daytona's Are Over Rated". ( He better not let Rolex know that !! )
( Remember Daytona movements were once only Valjoux > Zenith > now Rolex Calibres. )
                                ROLEX.
