The owners usually don't NEED the GMT... they only want the brand ROLEX....

I do use the GMT function when I travel overseas.
Similarly, for DSSD, Daytona or yacht master etc, how many people actually activate the functions like the gas escape valveand the chronos?

guess when you travel into Us or EU. you will need that function alot. i would say Rolex GMT function is one of the easier to use versus the others.

Have been eyeing 116710, but not sure if I will actually get to use its function.
How easy, user friendly do you think it is?

Picked up the GMT2 Batman this week, really happy with it. Flying off to GMT -8 land in a few weeks, will battle test it. Love the watch so far

GMT hand is great if you work for a international MNC. A quick glace will tell you whether it's too early or late to call a colleague in HQ.

I guess it's only useful when travelling, and not much else.

Use my GMT Pepsi to track time in London & NYC for concalls with colleagues. Great when you travel alot too. Not too bling, not too flashy
