Just bought a DATEJUST from local AD... guess what the serial is GXXXXX where X=numerals

Not alphanumerals leh...

AD say alphaumerals for SPORTS series only... not sure true ?

I got it from THG. They are having an awesome tie up with ANZ cards now with 5% rebate on any watch purchase. The rebate will be credited to your card I guess after 2 mths or something.

So I paid via partial cash, partial card

From my very limited experience on watch shopping. I suggest you go to the many outlets to check on which sales person is willing to offer you more discount and work from there. For me, I happened to found one who is very accomodating and is willing to hunt down the watch for me as it is pretty out of stock at many other ADs.

I did not bargain much since there is the rebate thing going on tho, plus that pink I wanted is not very very available !
