      Extra $800...WTF?! $80 also I won't pay!

At the most u go buy the black/red then go change the bezel with RSC la...$75 extra hahah

Maybe americans like to drink pepsi and asians like coke? hehehehe

But personally...I would prefer coke, firstly because I like coke and I like the colour combi

Perhaps the AD thinks that full black is lesser stock in the market during that time.

In fact, it's true I went to many AD and there is NO stock for full black.

If I am not wrong, if you change the red/black bezel in RSC, they will replace a simlar red/black.

No other color can be select even though they has stock.

          Cheers,

If you manage to buy the bezel loosely, you can change yourself or get RSC to do at S$25/change IIRC.

Wrong! The paperwork will reflect the original bezel color, and if you change, the paper coding will not correspond with the proper color.

If I am not wrong, RSC Singapore is very particular about "franken-watches". I don't think they will allow you to change from a coke to pepsi. Best way is to find watch technicians who are willing to help you.
Time is too precious to be measured by a cheap watch...

changing the bezel insert wl not make it a "franken watch"......

in one of my earlier posts i've mentioned that rsc wl change the bezel for you but its a one-to-one exchange to any other colour combi u want... at sgd75...

however if u have an extra bezel than u can ask the rsc tech to change for u at sgd25 for labour....

best is to buy oem parts so that u will not lose the original bezel insert that came with the watch... and as stated in the warranty papers... whether its 16710LN or 16710 BLRO

That's what u think and was told. Still can get below 10k anytime ... must look for it though. As I say, it's a talk up by sellers and supported by 'fren-fren'

Nope if it is an original item from RSC it's not called franken...franken is only when u buy anywhere else...other than RSC.

But of course...that item must be available with that model also la...in this case a different colour bezel no problem

the only sad thing is that I didnt manage to get the black/red which i wanted initially, I waited till the last minute before heading to HG, by then its already sold out...darn. Coming to 1 year, I have grown to enjoy the classic pepsi look as well.......
