Yes, price wise. Laco is definitely a better choice, because of the rich history with pilot watches! Therefore, are much more in price as compare to steinhart pilots watch. If the price were similar, everybody will pick laco.

laco 45mm type A using 2824 is about SGD1000 more than a 44mm steinhart using the same movement.

My point exactly! That's why I was very surprised when one of the bros here mentioned that price wise, it's a tough choice. Cos if price is a factor, It's a no brainer.

i'm not too sure... thought Laco 1925 and Laco by Lacher are seperated after some issues, read this on watchuseek sometime back...

here's my Laco Type B Quartz, stashed in my straps box, under my office table... not even my drawer!
havnt been on wrist for i guess... 2 years... even then, don't think it had been on my wrist for more than 20 times...
                    no, i didnt buy this...

just didn't like the lugs, it sticks out of my almost 6.75 inch wrist and this one does not have the words "FL23883" on the side...

the original strap was bad, the back of the rivets touches the skin, the di-modell strap in photo is bought in bangkok MBK...

just not sure if what i have is "chiong" or what.. haha...

I could be wrong but I believe there is only one laco on the market these days.

Still undecidable. Laco is about 1.5k whilst steinhart is around 600. Tough Choice !

get a feel of the watch itself.

Go down to the shop itself.

I used to own a Laco Type A. Yes, agreed the lugs are a tad too long for comfortable wear. But not too bad for me. I still missed it sometimes
