Archimede pilot series?
and i cannot advise anything on their quality, cos i have not owned any of them.
they just released a new pilot model in bronze, and i like the look very much.

Archimede has an advantage in that they manufacture their own cases, but most of the movements are not decorated. I would consider their autos not the manual 6497.

you may consider tutima, wempe & sinn too. own a stowa flieger myself and lets just say its well worth the wait.
never did quite like the steinhart, quality your getting for the price might be fantastic but.. like what a bro said earlier, the brand identity just doesn't seem right imho.
