  • Seiko Red Monster Limited Edition

Hi, anyone know where can i buy this watch and what is the price range ?

Think I've seen it at Superchrono near Outram MRT (Google for it), its gonna cost alot, 1k plus. Not worth IMHO for that kind of dough since its a standard monster with just a red color dial, but its very limited. Most limited one should be the yellow dial though. Hope this helps.

Believe this is a 1,313 LE for Thailand and was introduced officially in Bangkok World Watch Fair 2007 at Siam Paragon Department Store on 8 August 2007. The recommended retail price back then was 16,150 baht.

Saw a few pieces of these in Bangkok last year and think they were going for approximately USD600 - USD650.

      Hope the above helps ...

Thank you guy for your info, i found out some info for this watch and you guys are correct. Is 1313 LE and the price is around 20,000 Bahts = around S$ 800, beside the dail is RED and the crystal with cyclop the rest is just like a ORANGE monster and is selling in Bangkok.

        1. Do you guys think is worth at that price?
        2. Beside Thailand Singapore don't have this watch?

used to have one piece myself

one difference: this red monster has sapphire crystal vs the normal seiko hardlex crystal on the black/red monster

While a big fan of the Seiko Monsters, I personally am not convinced that the substantial price variances between this and a regular BM / OM is justified by the red dial and sapphire crystal...

How do I deal with the seller? U mean there are 2 brand new in BKK selling each $800?

                        Any contact to the seller?

                        Thank you

                            1. In my opinion if I were to pay around 1k, I did look for the vintage quartz tunas (Seiko's historical highly regarded divers). These have 1pc titanium case & even the jewel quartz movement are high torque and 1 of a kind exclusive for these models only. These are the highly collectible models. The monsters are just limited where nothing else seems to stand out.

                            2. Singapore does have lots of Seiko collectors, do scout around the sales thread, flea marts or google abit. Collecting Seikos for a couple years already, I've seen the limited monsters appear once in a while except for the yellow one.

And for those looking for a limited monster, there's a Blue Monster in the sales thread right now.

                              Cheers
