Hi all, i am a proud owner of a top gun double chrono.
When i took delivery of it, the condition was quite bad, abt 70/100. Backcase scratched, soft iron core chipped, marks on the ceramic case.
Called iwc and they told me it would cost $810. Fair price, and i thought its better to send in to manufacutrer for a complete servicing and overhaul. But can i check, what will they do EXACTLY?
In addition to stripping and setvicing the movement?
Will they also recondition the watch to like-new condition?
Thanks.

Just an update on some info:
Big pilot sapphire glass replacement:$280
7 day Pellaton movement full service (excluding parts replacement): $1,200
Maintenance: $300-400
Though the sapphire glass cost sounds surprisingly cheap, there is a catch: you have to incur at least a maintenance cost to replace the glass.
Service duration is 3 months!

if you are not a precision freak and the watch still running fine i would suggest just wear it until it stops running. Dont waste money do a complete overhaul if it's still running strong.
If you need to service, can check with JW Watch at Tanjong Pagar, the price is cheaper but not alot n covered w shorter warranty period.
