I bought this because the half gold is outstanding. I had the 116710 prior to this, and though it looks great, there was still something lacking. The half gold is a great combination and doesn't look too flashy, neither does it look plain.

Plus, I really liked the larger numerals on the ceramic bezel.

All in all, I LOVE IT! Even my wife who used to think that gold is very ah pek likes this over the 116710.

TT GMT-IIC roughly cost about 10k plus for pre-owned and about 11k for brand new. But Rolex prices will soon increase. I think in afew months to come the price will be alot different. As present, can see the increase in price for much sport rolex.
