If u want solid gold...then I feel...submariner,gmt II and daytona is on equal grounds.

Personally...I would go for the GMT II or Submariner

Sports model full gold - a bit strange in my opinion.

Would u bring a full gold watch when u go swimming or diving? Its big, chunky, very ostentious and almost rude. If someone wears it, I will think it must be some tai tai-ish man going to some high society ball. Or some rap star wannabe (now got gold adidas olympic shoes to match it). But that's just me. But if really only given these 3 choices, the submariner bah. I would think for GMT II, the ceramic version is more highly prized, and for Daytona, the stainless steel version has more street cred.

If I m going for the 60s gentleman look, complete with safari shirt, like Sean Connery, then a full gold dress watch will look better. It is classy and refined. Like DJ or DD. Keep bling bling stuffs small and simple lor.

Sports model full gold I find still ok...but quite rare in the market. It's easier to get the DD or YG DJ though.

I still a YG DJ with diamond markers! hahahaha

My choice is the Daytona white gold. But the coming Submariner white gold is a "looker" as well.

Well....but I doubt I will get it also...will be discouraged from my dealer and parents to get a solid YG watch

GMT11c , felt it once on my hand at PK . Really solid feel on it.
Off track from Yg watches, the best still is White gold daytona.

Very hard for anything with yellow gold on it to be subdued lah....

Stainless Steel or WG all the way....and hopefully with no polished shiny midlinks - too bling for me.

Wah that means no GMT IIc for you. Haha...I think in future all new Rolex models would have polished centre links.

that is a good thing because why do i want anyone to think my watch is worth how much.
