I search the Singapore Local AD on Rolex website pulled out a long list of Rolex AD and Boutiques. However could not find Singapore Airport Rolex counter being one of them. Does the counter not considered an AD? Is there any significant on the resale value buying from the AD vs airport duty free counter vs oversea AD?

the one at airport is run by Gassan watches, a european based retailer. i thought that it should be an AD at least. perhaps you can email rolex to enquire.
buying from european AD will definitely get u the best price. airport duty free prices are really pathetic as u will likely get the 7% gst off, but no discount from the retail price.elusive -

Does not matter where you get your Rolex, as long as its from an authorised dealer as u are covered by a 2 year international warranty. I bought a Rolex at Gassan in Amsterdam last year and they are an authorised dealer. Unless u have no better places to get your watch, the prices at that duty free shop arent very attractive IMO.Comment

Visit the rolex boutique at T3 last month. Saw a ladies 31mm 178343 YG with floral motif. Price after 7% $15304. Local AD can get up to 1k lesser.

It all depends.
I bought my GMTII at Changi airport.
That time, I got $200+ cash rebate back from Citibank.
And $550 changi airport voucher.
It's quite a catch considering it's from AD.Comment
