advice on GMT2

i got a friend want to sell me a gmt2
but she dont know which series is it. i check the chapter ring part. nothing, clean! GMT hand is red, dial and bezel is Black. condition is very good, hairline scratches is moderate.
if i remember correctly, the name is GMT master II.

she offer me 4.8k with everything that AD give(hour glass if i'm not wrong).
dont worry the fake or real , cos she XXX rich with million of businese.

WORTH?? cos she keep pushing me to buy from her, cos she say she dont look good with this model.

the only thing i mind is the chapter ring is clean, not even with serial number(which i compare with my friend old sub).
go online, find the value but cant find GMT2 with red hand gmt.
anyone can lighten me?
actually i look forward exp2 white. so very difficult to decide.

For the TS benefit, your friend did not get a late D-series watch and series after that, i.e. M-series and V-series (current series), hence there are not engraving on the rehaut with the ROLEX ROLEX and the serial number at 6 o'clock.

So don't bother looking for that if you don't see it.

for GMT II and GMT || of the series she owns is definitely 16710, GMT hand is surely in RED mah??? Green GMT hand is for the latest GMT series, i.e. 116710. Personally, I prefer the 116710 look than the 16710.. its up to your own individual preference.

finally found the actual watch my friend offer. red gmt hand GMT2
can't pass the chance actually unless she saw me wear few times when i met her(thru work).then i can give excuse that i swap watches.*she know i like EXP2 white.she dont know the value of rolex GMT. she even mistake it as SUB few month ago.

its seen nice deal ..but still i will ask for 4.3 or 4.5k.

i had close the deal with her without box and paper(tml then collect) take the watch 1st :P



the watch is the same on the right with no pinhole.
1st rolex(preown), hope it will motivation me to work harder and earn more to own a new one.
