The price? and WG is 'softer' than SS and get scratched more easily ...

price, material, bezel designs. off the top of my head already got three reasons.

i actually quite like WG daytona waiting to snap one for cheap (preowned hopefully )

                  Here's a cheaper alternative...

Buy SS Daytona then change the dial to WG dial...

I think the WG 116509's black dial is the most attractive of all the Daytona dials.

Can one present a SS 116520 watch to RSC and ask for a 116509 type black dial to be inserted. Will they allow this frankenstein operation?

haha, change dial. But that will not change the weight of the WG.

Its very solid and heavy. Unless you are talking about the one with strap.

But i think only the one with mother of pearl dial will look good with strap.

                          agree?

I don't think so too...the AD just told me...nowadays RSC so strict that for whatever reason you need to change dial or bezel, they will change same colour only ... so dial from different model (WG vs SS) even more impossible IMHO
