Cape Cod on Submariner

Hi all, need your kind input on the best way to maintain a submariner from swirl and scratches.

Are there different parts of the watch( i.e case) that you need to use different cloth ( i.e Cape cod) / liquid to clean and getting rid off scratches?

I may be wrong. Once scratches are there, you cannot get rid of them.

I use high quality lens cleaning tissue (not the cheap ones that you buy from Sim Lim) to wipe my watch.

Don't use any cleanser/solution, just use mild soap water will do.

How about getting rid of scratches from other parts of the watch? Can Cape cloth do the job?? I heard sponge ?

Cape cod should only be used on the polished surfaces ...

Most portions of the 16610 are brushed/matt steel. Only the sides of the case, sides & small portions of the bracelet buckle are polished.
