Rolex never make dial (for datejust) with numbers?

Friend recently bought a 2nd hand rolex. (half gold), he met up with his rolex "ah sia kia" friend, they tell him. Rolex never made dial for (datejust) with classic numbers? Except for datejust II.

His watch look the one in my photo, only half gold.
In this pic that gold colour watch.

By any chance anyone know the model number of the gold colour watch on the photo?

That is wrong advice.... I have seen STEEL and TWO TONE Rolexes with arabic and romans dials!

Yes it is available but not as common as the roman numerals.
