  • IDENTIFY THlS MYSTERIOUS ROLEX!

hi guys. i just watched "Just Go With It" yesterday and Jennifer Aniston's character was wearing this gold rolex. Problem is, i cnt identify it. Aniston is a known rolex lover and has sported many rollies in public, including Day-Dates and PVD Milgauss etc. But what is this rolex she's wearing? Full gold Jubilee bracelet. DD or DJ?

if im not wrong; this would be a datejust but in 18k gold case, and full gold bracelet. my old man has one; but in leather strap.

It should be something like this...

Midsized solid gold datejust with gold jubilee bracelet. In SG, Gold jubilee is very unpopular because jubilee is available in SS and TT. When you are on the level of buying a solid gold piece, there's an alternative of the president bracelet which looks much classier. So naturally most people would go for the president for the unique, classy look and...also cos president bracelet = gold (only).

Since I'm oso learning, I've made a box... ready for my late grandpa's watch to fit inside. Then can touch-touch, see-see and know personally what Rolex is...

Nahhh not special. Is the full gold datejust in jubilee bracelet rare..well true in a sense.

If the model is not popular...nobody buys
When nobody buys...over time there's very little in the market
When there's very little in the market...people call it hard to come by/rare.

Rare stuff...well depends on how you see it. If you like it, it's rare you buy immediately cos you hardly ever see it. If you don't like it...you still wont buy it. Hahaha...

price wise i think not worth to buy the 18k datejust. top up abit more can move into DD territory, so yes, its kinda "rare".

having said that, if im not wrong; the 18k datejust did come in abit more bezel options. one such option was in bark.

Now no more bark finish...I m personally against the bark finish. When you wanna find parts in the future...jialat!
