GMT II: How much will sapphire glass change set me back?

Hi - I have a tiny hairline scratch on the sapphire glass on my GMT master II. Does anybody have an idea how much it costs to replace it with a brand new one? Thanks.

Well truth be told now with modern abrasives yes you can remove scratches from sapphire crystals.Yes believe it or not they do scratch,you will need some good quality diamond paste. I have used 3 micron to remove the main scratch going across the scratch first,it takes a fair bit of elbow grease.Just a tiny bit on a cloth like a spectacles cloth or similar.Then just a fine polish after with the quarter micron,and scratch will be gone,and good as new. Cost for the two tubes around $15 via internet,and far cheaper than a new crystal average price $75-$100 it takes a bit of time,but if scratch is very very deep then it should replace.

The price is close to S$400 in my home country, so I will have it replaced when I visit Singapore in two weeks. Thanks for the input.
