  • A new Rolex collector from Viet nam.

    Dear all watch lovers, collectors,

My name is Lam Da Vu located in Hochiminh city, Vietnam. I caught to love wristwatch since end of 1995 and started collecting it since early 1996 until now. My first Swatch was Curry Powder and Quasimodo. Since then I never stop my love for it and until I got about 50 watches in my collection.
I feel lonely in Vietnam in this collecting for the years but I still love watch and keep on collecting it. I really need some incentive –helps and support from watch collectors, fans form all over the world.
It is nice to know your esteem site through the kind introduction from Deemaz-a member here. Much appreciate to Deemaz.
My favourites watch brands are Rolex, Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe, Blanpain, J.Le Coulte, Breguet, Jacquet Droz, Zenith, Daniel Roth, A.Lang & sóhne, Lang Heyne va Arnold & Sons, Graham(The British Maters) and some moderns likes Frank Muller, Roger Dubuis, F.P Journe, Dubey & Schaldenbrand, Chronoswiss, Hautlene, Swatch, Nomos and Alain Silberstein.

For Rolex-one of my best favourites- I focus in Sport Rolex only like Submariner, Submariner Date, Explorer, Explorer II, GMT Master, GMT Master II, Milguass, Sea Dweller, Yaught Master and Daytona.
I look forward to have your contact and pleased to exchange information and as well as Rolex and especially watch lovers in your country.
Thanks for your taking time reading.
    Happy watchy. Lam Da Vu

This site besides Rolex, has high Pam traffic.

Apparently, this guy Vu is not posioned by Panerai yet. By the way, Panerai is officially not here or popular in Vietnam yet.

So for the Pams lovers here, do your job.

        Dear Pegasi and Commoner,

        Thanks for your comments.
I will share my Rolex pictures soon. I got a GMT 16700, a Sub-date 16610 and an EX II 16570 and one Celini 4087.

I know PAM well but was not poisoned and you are right to say that PAM is not popular in Vietnam.

there was a Rolex collector in HCMC who sold a lot of Vietnam war-era (1960s) rolex in the late 1990s and early 2000, regret I didn't buy any then because I was not into them then.

              Welcome Bro

A very warm welcome to our Vietnamese Bro Vu!

Interestingly, part of my leisure while on business trips in Vietnam, both North and South, is to hunt for some vintage Rolexes!!

Be it waist or pocket, not many I could find.

Maybe, one of these days, bro Vu could help to show me around!!!

I can't wait to see your collection too!

One of my family members worked there for a few years and bought loads of vintage stuff (including furniture) and still does to this day.

One day soon, I'd like to go there and enjoy your country.
