Do give reasons for your choice. Thank you. Also, do insert estimated price for your entry if you know. Thanks.
also as a fan of the sea, i prefer a make that can dive deeper than anything currently available ... no prize 4 giving the correct ans ... dive, dive, dive .. its DeepSea shall have my vote as the watch to go forth ... viva Deepsea

There is no best Rolex but most popular rolex... Confirm either Sub C or GMT II. I think Sub C most popular because I see it everyday on someone's wrist whenever I take MRT. So common until I even see lady wearing Sub C. Looked weird on her wrist though cos her wrist was too small for the size and Sub C lugs are not so elegant so will not have that "wrap nicely" look on the wrist.
If I can have only one rolex watch it will likely be Sub C even though I shouldn't because it's too common and actually coming to think of it, it's just average in all aspects(eg, tech specs) and not unique, but very safe and won't go wrong. Of course one of the the best choice if I want something that holds it's value well. IMO Rolex watches in general are over conservative in styling that makes them look very outdated and old. Most refer that as timeless since they never change their styling. Sub C looks the most ok among the line and able to fit on a younger wrist too so I guess that's reason for it's popularity since it can appeal to any age.
Sometimes I wonder whether Rolex would be as popular if not for the value it can hold. Durability is a no brainer but I find them a little overpriced as compared to many brands of equal prestige. So my conclusion is pay extra for that "insurance" to maintain it's value. Having said about the negative things I still look forward to adding a Sub C to my collection. Don't know why.... That's why people refer as the Sub Bug...Perharps influenced by the mass.
