the discontinued Rolex Sea Dweller 16600 M series (last batch of discontinued Sea Dwellers). Last production run was late 2008 and replaced by the current model the Deep Sea Sea Dweller. There's plenty of info on the SD in the forums - just do a search.

I hv gotten a brandnew last batch set . If you look you can still find mint condition models available from the sellers in the various forums. I think the price will shoot up as years to come. Good luck.

I have to agree with this. Rolex was never known for "chi-chi" dress watches. It's known for the gentleman professional who works in extreme conditions. In that spirit, the 16600 Sea-Dweller lives up to this maxim to perfection. Tough as nails, sensible, while maintaining civilised proportions.

The only watch I regretted selling. Will be re-acquiring in the near future.

Can understand that. In fact, some argue that the cyclops are meant for old people associated with presbyopia (lau hua), hence the term "uncle brand". They also say PP and AP ROO's don't come with cyclops.
