  • Case not waterproof ?

    Dear all,

I sent my rolex for an overhall 2 months back...it was stated in the receipt that that the case will not be water proof...

only wore the watch once per week, and today i noticed that the glass has vapour inside...

Can i actually bring the watch back to RSC to ask them to dry it for free....only been wearing for about 10 times and already kena such thing liao...usually after wearing i will rinse with water...

Not waterproof means that the watch can not even touch water ?

    Advice appreciated ...

nowadays, no watch company will claim water proof le. will only say water resistant

water proof = 100% but water resistant can me 99.99999999999%

Think you can bring back to RSC. they should cover you for 1 year after a service right? just give them a call. not supposed to have condensation inside the watch.
I dont need another watch, I dont need another watch, I dont need another watch, I dont need another watch.........

Most likely they recommended that you change the caseback during service but you refused? That is the only reason I can think of that Rolex service will release a watch that is not water resistant.

Rolex might have covered themselves by saying watch is not water proof on the receipt. On the bright side, I find that generally they are less atas nowadays and might agree to look at your watch on a goodwill basis.

Very weird. Not even water resistant? You went deep sea diving?
Very eager to know what model is it.
