  • Date vs No-Date

Just curious - what's your preference and why?

Assuming a particular model (eg Submariner) has both, but comes with a hefty price difference (about $1k or more).

It's all about personal preference .

For me and some of the bros here , we will not buy watches w/o date .

But some of the bros here don't mind .

i'd prefer my watch with date. it just feels weird on my wrist that my watch has no date.

the question on price is often very subjective.. it depends very much on the value you attached to the watch, whether u already owned or about to purchase 1.. the question of whether the date feature justify an extra 1k, I think only you can determine that for yourself as in the necessity of the date feature. if you are using the Submariner as comparison then you must know that at brand new, the SubDate is retailing at abt 7.9K plus and Sub no date is at abt 6.5K, which meant that the price difference is more than 1K. I personally would prefer a date feature on my daily watch but if its for collection then it won't matter much. Shop around if you are going for preowned as I'm sure you can find 1 that suit your budget. Juz my humble opinion.

                        cheers

Date or NO date is very much depending on individual. All my watches comes with date and maybe it's just a coincidence.

Nevertheless, if a watch doesn't has the quick set date, I would think a bit troublesome if to re-adjust the time if it's STOP.

                          Cheerio,
