I believe we have members from few other countries like Malaysia, HK, Australia and USA etc, so it would be great if these members can help to verify if this policy exist in the RSC in their country.Watches are like potato chips - You never stop at one

Yes you are right. For one common example, if I send my gmt pepsi for bezel replacement, if I not wrong about $120 maybe, they will not return my old bezel. Do we have our right for asking back the replacement parts, NO.. I like when the part they reply, "Company policy" haha what to do, also need to do..

Precisely. How did these get into the market? And judging from the prices of these accessories and parts, they were far more expensive than what RSC is selling. I recalled an earlier intention to change bezel insert for an older model GMT II. Checked with RSC and I was quoted slightly more than a hundred dollars, inclusive of labour charges. Then I saw online sales of these similar part going at $300-$400 (new). Labour is your own.HOME THEATERPHILE

you mentioned a good point - look legit. how do you know if these parts are authentic or not.
when i service my car, the car mechanic takes out all the standard items that need to be changed and place it besides my car before i go for my kopi break. when i come back, they changed items are placed next to my car to indicate that it has been changed.
the common procedure when one sends in rolex @ RSC, the CSO will take it the watch, indicate if there are any dings, scratches, etc through visual inspection and notes it down and place the watch in an envelop and brings in to the watch technician who will look through the watch and test the basic accuracy and notes down what needs to be done.
following the car service example, can the rolex technician not take the parts out say bezel, glass, crown, clasps in sealed condition and bring out to show customer. then when collecting watch, show the customer what parts has been changed and the changed parts be shown to customer as proof that it has indeed been changed.
