  • How often do you wind your watch?

Assuming you don't wear it for a few days and it's stopped... you reset the time and put it back on your wrist - it's running now - do you still wind it a full 20/30/40 turns?

How often do you wind your watch if it's a daily beater? One of my friends mentioned that he manually winds his sub every once in a while even though he wears it daily. What are the pros/cons of that?

Is it healthy to always keep it in the watch winder? Just a thought as there are no break time on the watch..

There are several discussions in the forum with regard to your enquiry. You may want to search for the information. There is a watch winder discussion thread.

A watch winder should not over wind your watch. It should, instead, maintain it current power reserve.
                  hope this helps.

i have been winding twice to 3 times a week. was wondering if that is affecting my watch. the power reserve seem shorter than it suppose to have despite wearing for more than 8 hrs a day after winding.
