  • Advice needed for new pam

    Hi all
Just got a pam351 last year.
Was wondering what I 'supposed' to do before the 2year warranty expire?
    Thanks..

I think you have to explain further the advice you are looking for?
"Once is happenstance, twice is coincidence,
three times is enemy action and
over 600 is clearly the work of an ancient Sumerian demon or some sh*t

There is practically NOTHING you are 'supposed' to do, unless there is problem with your watch.

To exercise your warranty before it expires, you can bring your watch to Richemont Service Center for a checkup to ensure the movement is keeping time within the specs. If any work is needed, you will be covered under warranty.

I think Panerai's are quite well-made so I doubt you need to do anything after 2 years. Most watch brands would recommend that the watch should be serviced around 5 years, however I think that it's not really a-must unless the watch is giving you problems. Thing is, sometimes taking apart a watch might cause more issues, so just hang in there & wait after the 5th year.

          Alfa GT
          Alfa Spider 3.2 V6- now
          Alfa 4C- maybe next time

i don't think they can do anything about your dial lume becoz it comes that way from the factory. unless the lume is peeling off which is unlikely.

strap change tool rusty? spray some WD40 or get the new plastic one lor.

                Hi
                Thanks for the reply.
I will have it checked nearer to the expiry of the warranty as my watch seems slower by the days.
                Anyone with similar problem?

why not bring it in sooner rather than later?

Do nothing! Unless the watch is faulty. You cannot assume what sort of servicing they do. As long as it's good, just don't send for any servicing.

a new watch should not require any servicing job unless something is broken. a routine servicing job requires replacement of seals and gaskets plus lubrication and case polishing (if needed).

if the movement is running fast or slow, the technician can carry out fine adjustments.

BTW, how much did you pay for your PAM351?
I saw one in the boutique and they quoted $11.2K.
