Just to share:
1) Recently while on holiday in Guangzhou, China the watch (Speedmaster X33 3290) I'm wearing show sign of battery EOL. So decided to drop by SWATCH service centre for a check and battery change. Was quoted CNY 990.00 (approx S$201.00) just for battery change which I promptly decline as the charges by SWATCH Singapore is $55.00
2) Few days later, while in Hong Kong I decided to pay the Omega service centre in Tsim Sha Tsui a visit. Was quoted HK$300.00 (approx S$54.00) which I gladly accepted.
3) Two years ago, I did a similar battery change at the Omega Boutique in HCM, Vietnam and the cost was VND 500,000 (approx S$32.00)
So its seemed that there is cost disparity especially so in Mainland China.
My previous experience with established watch repairer in Singapore is between S$25.00 to S$35.00 as not many of them carry the battery (CR2320)
Anyone with similar experience with other brands of watches.
Cheers.
