Steinhart Owners-please help

Hi, i have recently bought a Steinhart Aviation in Singapore. I was rather disappointed in the illumination of the watch. It barely stays bright for an hour. is this normal?

i have since sent it back to the shop who claimed they have sent it back to Germany. Germany says it is normal and it did illuminate for about 3-5 hours..

what am i doing wrong then? i shouldn't need to "charge" the dials right?

anyone with this same problem? i have read reviews and everyone preached about the intensity of the illum of this watch....

I have 4 watches from Steinhart and all hold charge quite well.
