Hey guys,

not sure any of the moderators have some sort of connections with any of the watch or winders makers/owners/ADs?? perhaps we can do something like a contest and win some watch related prizes? some fun for the forum members...and good exposure for the sponsors..

alternatively, perhaps we can run a little auction for our "unwanted" watches or related items (even unrelated ones) and donate the proceeds to a charity, a fund to organize activities for the members or even use the $$ to purchase prizes for some future contest (i.e subscription of watch magazines that is not that expensive)? ...just a thought..there'll be a lot of work, i guess...

Contest wise... tink SGROC is not tat well known enough yet to have big sponsors.. lol.. but i believe some members here have good connections with some watch shops, etc.... we don't need big prizes tho.. so we'll c wat we can do.. Tink triton is going to have a guess his watch collection contest..

well, we can start by "donating" some of our stuff (search our storeroom) and see if we can come up with some "2nd hand" prizes for the members here..start a smaller scale auction from here...

i can see Triton's CD folder being 1, Darkie's chess sets and etc...hahahaa...
