Horchata (hot almond milky beverage)and cigarettes! Best breakfast in Spain! Had that for two weeks straight when I was bag packing in Europe 10 years ago.

Was almost tempted to bring back a whole leg of black pig ham. The pata negra black hoofed type.

But sanity prevailed and settled for 1.5kg of the vacuum packed sliced ham.

I buy gambas in spain

Yes i am that crazy about them. I freeze them, double seal them in insulation and ice packs - frozen veges work too, and ship them home in my luggage.

Once you eat the gambas (prawns) you'll understand why

Cava, it's such a refreshing drink and cheap.
Well if you visit Toledo, the knives and swords are very tempting, they made the swords for Lord of the rings there.

Only thing that is very cheap in Spain is food, of course.. and items from Zara.

oh and housing, but I assume you not looking for that when going on vacation.. :P
