Watch shop in Hong Kong

was wondering if anyone gt or noe any lobang of preown watch shops in hongkong..
since there a thread on tokyo.. might as well include hongkong..

There're quite a few in TST, either Nathan Rd or Peking Road. My advise is you gotta be very careful when you purchase pre-owned watches esp, ROLEX in HK. The replicas there are very well made (looks and feels exactly like real). HK pre-owned watch shops dealers will try to rip you esp if they know you're not local. Do get your local friends to accompany you if possible

Oh damnz, I going day after 2mr.... then i presume it'll be as tricky for other pre-owned watches as well?? Coz I hearsay Rolex are somewhat cheaper in HK....

Maybe wld post some lobangs if I see any, but I vaguely remembered the pricing was comparatively better vis Spore when I last went HK in 2005

For pre-owned, it's indeed a bit cheaper than Singapore

Theres 2 pre-owned Watch Shops, side by side near the Corner of "Bo Hai Kai" aka Ball & Shoe Street, very near Ladies market. Btw saw the Milgauss at one of the Shop, din enquire thou.

Think Rolex is slightly cheaper vis Spore after discount..... cant rem exactly how much.... u cld chk it out.

im goin hk soon..and yes..will also be looking for a rolex there.. i heard can get gd price compared to sg coz they dun have some sales tax or something.. not too sure...
however i hope to gather some info on the watch shop there...ermm..at least reputable..in case i kena rip-off..coz i rolex newbie...may consider brietling and IWC also...if price is right..but so far..still very ex...

read from here that the 2nd hand rolex sell more ex than sg?esp after discounts given in sg... if tats the case then i no need buy liao.. anyway hope to get more shop info so i can plan my itinery more effectively...

When r u heading to HK? I'll be heading there next month. If u r into pre-own Rolex watches, got to be very careful over there. There are a no. of such dealers located along Nathan Rd and prices can be pretty in the vicinity of Mong Kok. There again, its a reputable place for 'authentic' stuff. I do know of a dealer in Sino Centre. If u r interested, PM me for the contact.

Yes. HK is well-known for it's replicas, especially for Rolexes. If you're buying alone, try not to get a pre-owned one.

ya im buying alone.. so i try to get recommended shops.. i believe those recommend shop with reputation wont do such a thing...crossing my finger..hehehe... so any series is especially cheap there... i can help MO abit n bring in...

Dont suggest u try to MO for the rest of us, though its a nice thought! Buying 1 or 2 watches and wearing it back is fine, anything more & u may be stuck at customs paying GST! Its OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
