i last time used to like the PAP....

recent events happening around singapore have convinced me that PAP isn't listening to the woes of singaporeans...

    1) Cost of Living - wth my salary isn't 1 million dollars per year you know
    2) Rising Prices of HDB Flats
    3) Crowded MRT trains due to influx of foreign population
    4) etc etc
    5) Poor governance
    Opportunities come once

they can be voted out meh? the major seats, all secure water tight already. at most you can reduce their seats, but not overturn. that is unless, you have other methods

I have not been voting since I am all along under LKY territory.

Is the voting results made public by reading out or is it just computerize method? pardon my ignorance

Who said rich ppl are now safe in Sinkapore ? When their assets are at the mercy (flood) of the act of god or at the mercy of someones fault? I guess the rich ones will give a second thoughts at diversifying their assets.

Btw did i hear the recent comment by LKY that Sinkaporeans are too pampered and if we were to build more drainage, our wider roads on the roads will become smaller ?

SO BE IT !! U WILL CUT DOWN ON UR EARNINGS ON UR erp !! Thou smaller roads means more jam, i am sure people will be more conservative on the road usage perhaps. NB

i think s'poreans should be lucky that the gov't actually promotes road widening . Here in Perth; we go from a two lane rd, to a 1.5 lane street. the half lane is for cyclist, and if you are "lucky" enough to get stuck behind a bus/rubbish collection vehicle; then you are screwed.

Aussie should be glad that they dont have to hear the beep sound and get charge for usage of the road subjected to hourly pricing.

I guess the SKY HIGH COE has managed to control the overcrowding cars population. So meaning GARMENT is going to remove some vacuum cleaners ?

road widening is to cater for more cars....more cars means more $$
