So... right now, I am updating my iPhone at the moment to iOS 7. Has anybody done it yet? What are your opinions on it?

it may take awhile to get use to. it is not like a major upgrade from 6. just feel that it is just improvement of GUIif you have issues with your account, click here for self help and read forum rules here. 90% of your answers can be found in Forum FAQ

double click on home button.
it will launch the multi-task screen aka show the previous apps used.
swipe up with finger on the app you want to close

i agree. the reason why i like to change the white background is that it is too bright for me.
3 ways to minimize the 'glare' is
1) adjust the auto-brightness.
2) invert colors.
3) jailbreak?
the second option is like not viable for me as it changes the whole scheme.
