I got mine at about 35% cheaper than list price. Margin can be wider if not for the lousy credit card currency exchange rate...

i read that the gold on the half-gold model gets scratched up easily. is this true for your case?

I think gold in general is softer than steel. Made worse that it is polished to a high shine. I have incurred some fine hairline scratches, but generally watch still looks shiny and new. I also take deliberate care so that i don't knock or scratch it unnecessarily

Congrats and nice watch you have!

Enjoy the watch and don't be too concern about scratches. They add to the character and personality of the watch!

yup i read the same thing too. the article even went as far as to suggest staying clear of the half-gold models because of the ease it picks up scratches. but then again, when i look at pics of ur watch, i think to myself. fwah... this looks so much nicer than the stainless model

Yup I originally wanted the SS version too. It was until I saw the half gold version before I realise the difference between liking a watch and loving a watch. Hahaha!

That's a nice watch. The TT works well for the GMT IIC.

nice watch there. agree that the gold will get scratch easier than the ss type. do wear with care.
