            In a nutshell, the Explorer II was designed for cave dwellers while the GMT Master II was designed for pilots.

            Differences
            ExplorerII's bezel is fixed while GMT II bezel is rotatable.
            Exp II comes in white and black dials. GMT II comes in black dials
            Exp II's hands are black. GMT II is silver in color...

            etc etc

              Does anyone realise that Explorer II has always been more popular n demand than the old GMT Master II? The discount given for the old GMT Master II is more than the Explorer II. Does Anyone know why?

                    it's not an absolute ....

                    in june.... i brought an acquantaince to buy a 16710 pepsi at $6100..... and that time, a 16570 white dial was offered to me at $5856.......

                    so where got always one.....??

                                15% is a lot for LV man. That's something really quite unheard of. But then again, there can be exceptions. Maybe Jolin Tsai was the buyer and the AD is her fan?
