Thanks Bro Richard. When i was young, my father poison me with Rolex classic watches, DateJust to be precise. Now, i poison him towards the sport series. However, it seems that folks who like DateJust, tend to like YM though, just my 2cents opinion. Hehe, i poison you already.

Ya, most of the uncles i saw are wearing the classic watches. These days, more and more uncles above 70s seems to be wearing sport series like my dad and his friend who wear a ND SUB. I also want to own the whole set, however the wrist time and maintainence turns me off. lol. Ya, it looks good on him.

Bro, congrats on your new purchase. My dad's box is different as it is a preowned one, a P series, that's why it has a different box than your one. In fact, over the pass 18 years that YM 1 series appear (YM Rolesium appears in 1998, the plati/SS YM), the design and movement is more or less the same except the dials.
