            Certainly Impressive

            That a real great achievement.

Man, if I have not paid he bloody COV for the bloody re-sale flat, paid for bloody renovation, pay for my bloody part-time degree, bought watch for my senior, bought watches for my wife and myself. I should be able to put a hefty sum for the down payment of a WRX and get myself a brand new PP nautilus before I hit 30s too.

Well your case just show two things, people really get good genes from their parents or the pay getting better for the younger ones. Of course there is the third, you are at the right place at the right time.

Wear your panda in good health, dude.

Congrats. Nice piece. Before 30, I was wearing Swatch and one old Rolex from my grandpa.

And that was a long time ago.

This thread sends me back in time....

By the time I hit 30, I was a proud owner of 2 Rolexes (not my purchases). One was passed to me by my father when I was 16 and the other was a birthday present from my wife at 28. All my money ended up in investments such as unit trusts, insurance and shares. I then got burnt quite badly by the Tech bubble.

During my 20s, I was the proud owner of many luxury cars (not all at one go) but all ended with me losing bucket loads of money when I kept changing it every year.

I didn't even buy my first home until I hit 31 years old. 10 years on, I now have too many watches to mention and 6 properties. Until the govt stepped in with all these new measures to counter the speculative buying, the property purchases has now come to a shuddering halt. So, it's all now back to buying watches, investing into China, India and Europe.
