    My First and only Rolex. 5513 R serial.

    Hi all,
    Just sharing my first and only Rolex. An R series 5513 Submariner. I just had the plexi switched to a NOS Superdome Plexi i got from Steve Mulholland from www.mulhollandtime.com The extra curvature of the dome does make it look so much better. It works as a great daily beater. I practically wear it everywhere, even to sleep!! Well, perhaps with the exception to the shower!!

                      Beauty! Beauty & Beauty....nothing can beat a 5513, a watch that carries prestige of Rolex for all event. I have a similar piece too got it from a Bro here.Just love it so much.

                          Hi all,
                          Thank you for all the wonderful comments!! To be honest, I have never been a rolex fan, more a traditionalist at heart with most of my purchases being Glashutte Originals, or dress watches to a certain extent. However, the 5113 is such a utilitarian watch!! Great for every day occasions. While I would not wear it to a formal do (I dont believe its formal enough, too thick and not on a leather strap), it a wonderful piece for all my everyday concerns. I do love them on the NATO/ZULU straps, myself not fond of metal bracelets.
