now that the sub and GMT II has gotten the ceramic bezel, milgauss being 'revived' YM with a YM II, SD becoming DEEPER, Daytona with a new bracelet, Explorer I becoming bigger, i believe there will be changes made to the explorer II this year or two.

last year was the year i saw some of the rolex models prices being soft. a Explorer II going in the region of 4500 which is almost 50% off current list.

there are still some Explorer II with box and papers currently available in the market and pricing seems alright now. Especially those with T<25 dials and some rare swiss dials.

it is also one of the series where you can get both white and black dials other than milgauss, daytona.

i have always prefer the black dial, but the more i look @ the white dial, the more i feel it stands out more, maybe is due to the black markers on the edge of the index.

i will be keeping a look out to get a pair of these after CNY.

Stretch the budget and go for the creamy dial as well. I think I saw someone selling it in the garage here somewhere! A really rare beast!
