Yeah agree. Would appreciate if there is any pros to share some tips so that next time i wouldnt get cheated if i purchased any 2nd hand pieces online.

There's no such model of a half gold daydate.

Daydates are available only in solid gold, full yellow, white or rose gold. Also in platinum.



Only exception that has a "half gold" look which is actually full solid gold, made of all 3 golds.

Several other signs which you can best tell if u hav 2 pieces to compare. But at the moment...that's the easiest giveaway for THIS watch.

if you guy take a close up look at the day-date you will find it that the steel is more shining, they are not rolex 940 steel.. Half gold steel shld be non shining de, gmt2c centre part is diff again. Hard to say more, just be more careful on your hunting. Rather miss it then regret it
