Before this blue sub tt, i was actually about to confirm a new white face daytona. The same AD quoted me a price of $14,500. I have done some reseach on the daytona on this forum, and was very certain that the daytona was a good buy. I have also seen some 7 yrs old black face daytona at china town going for $15,800. For a new watch at 14 500, it was a good deal.

But when i set my eye on the blue sub tt with diamonds, i was swept away. The daytona was a total plain jane next to it. The only set back, I think is price i will eventually have to pay off on the high depreciation cost of the tt gold and diamonds.

What to do, this is what happen with love at first sight.

              Hi chiku88,
sweeee! But do you have to sacrifice the lume? or the lume will still be visible through the diamonds?

Nice! Mine is with the blue illum. Is your price after discount? I think additional 3k to 4k for 8 diamonds seem ok. Rolex is extending it's diamonds designs to Sub too, since Sports models with diamonds are nice too. Before Sub, only Daytona and GMT-Master II. Good choice!

With the diamonds, there are eight less lume. The price is stated is the actual price i have paid. I got a 17 per cent discount from the listed price. I think the listed price was above $18k.

Just realised that the lume is actually bluish green, diffient from the regular green.

The gold part on the two tone bracelet gets scratch easily. I guess gold is a soft metal. If anyone could enlighten me on whether the 18k gold is solid gold or just plated gold on the rolex two tone models.
