  • My problem with Rolex Deepsea

    Guys,

Just thought to give you some heads up on my issue on the recent purchase of Rolex Deepsea. Got it recently on end of August 10 at THG and notice there is a small piece of fibre inside the sapphire crystal so I went back to the AD.

The AD and myself pay a visit to RSC and they blow out the fibre for me. My question is that this is a brand new piece and why do I have such issue. I give up thinking about it and was out of town for quite sometimes.

Just when I am back and decide to wear my Deepsea, I found out that the bracelet was attach the wrong side !!! See picture. Now my question is why RSC service was so bad that they did not even bother to check.

    Regards,
    Andrei

How disappointing . Not new though. My friend nearly bought a Submariner, years ago, with 'free gift' - a tiny hair in the case ! He checked and discovered when buying and got a new piece.

LOL...did you see who was the watchmaker handling your watch? Next time must tell the counter staff I do not want him/her to service my watch.

Enjoy your DeepSea and try not to dwell on it.

bring your watch to RSC and they will fix it for you within 20 mins - without cost

Also, i believe cut them some slack as you only asked them to check the glass and they probably just did that. If you asked them to check the whole watch, that might not have happened.... but i understand.... more time wasted thats all..

sorry for saying this but i think we've been allowing them to slack too much liao... like me, handled them a 100% swee swee watch to authenticate but after their handling, came back with hairlines on bracelet and side case.... could have made them polish that out but i will only lose material off my otherwise new watch..........

how i wish some "service star superman" can come and knock some sense into them....

in the meantime... i'm only bringing my watch there only if theres nowhere else to go.... then when there... just pray and pray.....

I also agree that RSC service standard has totally dropped. My Brand New SD also got many circular scratch on the back when I send it for check, so disappointed when they dont even bother to paste a protective sticker before they use equipment to open the back case.

Worst still he even removed one of my side protective sticker without my consent, later I ask him to fix back when I discover it but not the scratch
                      because of insufficient lighting condition.

Sad to say Singapore service sectors has not improved(no sense of responsibility) and its getting from bad to worst IMO. To make matter worst off, many of the front line service staff are foreigner workers and seem like they have not gone thru proper training.

Thanks guy. Fly back yesterday and head off to RSC to change the bracelet back. All I get from the RSC people is we are sorry and a cup of coffee. That's all. Waste my time and effort. Just wondering is it worth to actually collect Rolex now given that the service is so bad.
