date watch brand set for photo are not fixed. individual preference.

Eg, Rolex, Panerai uses 28. IWC, Lange uses 25. Patek uses 8.

Read somewhere i think have some asian influence.

Hands are usually set not blocking the main elements on the dial, especially on chronos.

For the serials maybe can use photoshop to clone the numbers and make it like V8888888.

After my set, I took some macro shots of my GMTIIC but the dust and some dirt on my watch makes the pic very ugly.. I will retake tomorrow after I wash it...

I tried to take this macro.. can the experts here tell me is it consider ok? I know the composition of the picture can be improve.. how about the technique and my set up?

Light tent gd right? Play with the angles. U can still see a layer or partition of a light reflection. But the reflection prob is def better now.is your dof too shallow? What aperture u use?

aiyo..how can use f1.8....go try f8,11. for me when i need everything sharp i use f22,23 but sensor dust will show up if it is present-but u edit them away..u got tripod right? so u can adjust your shuttle speed but not too slow else your second hand will have motion blur. u got flash too?

play ard and try..u will get better...i am still learning too.
