Thanks, but I am no pro honestly. Just someone who is still trying to get the hang of photography. I think any DLSR should be good. I myself use an entry-level DSLR - a Nikon D3000 with the standard lens that comes with it. Cant wait to get a macro lens thoughOriginally posted by augpat View Post

Yeah, the reflections can be tricky. You can using a black or white paper to bounce the light off it and avoid reflections or just have to try to get the angle right. Its easier if the crystal has an AR coating
