Nice lume shots. Just wished that Rolex would consider using tritium tubes for longer and more consistent illumination. Here's one more for Rolex lume

On the contrary, tritium tubes IMO are the best. Yes, they have a lifespan of 25yrs, half life at 12.5. However, the tubes can be replaced without changing the entire dial. On the other hand, most bad experience is with tritium paint. Two entirely different stuff here. The paint will flake and react with the environment, hence the very short lifespan of many tritium illumination dials. Any other forms of ilumination paint will require replacement of the entire dial if the paint loses its illumination properties. Of course, u can always re-lume the dial but at what price? In addition, tritium tubes require no light source to trigger the reaction, hence the consistent long lasting brightness.
