Quartz watch is okay, but not mechanical watches.
The same goes for any sports such as swimming, tennis etc. when it comes to mechanical watches.

Even if they pros wear watches when they play golf, it's most likely because they're sponsored.
So if their watches breakdown from all the excessive forces exerted on it during swings, their sponsors will immediately replace it.
But for us lesser mortals, we will have to bring it to the service centre, take a queue number, send it in for service, take another queue number to pick it up and fork out bucket-loads of cash and tears!

Tiger Woods himself recommended that you take off your watch when you play...
Tag made a special golf watch...u can use that...super light...but seriously? it's not that much of a use 1 lah
Sometimes forgotten, but always contactable. Darkangel (2007-2014)
