The ONE Rolex...
Collapse
X
-
This is one of the Rolexes that I remembered seeing on adverts during my younger years, apart from the more common Datejust. I felt like this is the ONE Rolex I would one day perhaps own.
As my journey in this hobby evolved, and financially I can afford to own some modest pieces, I never thought I would want to own one...in fact, Rolex in general did not interest me as much as some other brands. Not until I got my first Rolex, then the next, and the next, until I am where I am right now...back to the time I remember the Daytona as THE ultimate sports chronograph.
Where it was once the grail of many (including myself) and not seen as often in the wild, it is now one of the most affordably priced sports chronograph considering its pedigree, history and heritage.
Truly an amazing time machine.

But I think I will stick with stock...so classy.
