  • Rolex City And Disneyland Trip...

    Part 1...

As usual, we made an effort to go for a holiday at least once a year and we just came back from the Rolex City of the Far East...Hong Kong.

As a first-timer there, the main reason was to actually visit Disneyland for our little girl, and secretly for ourselves too. Like they say, there's a kid in all of us.

Here are a couple of pics with plenty of wrist shots. I don the Deepsea while my wife decided to borrow my Sub, as usual.

Guess who got the first wrist shot...I think I taught her well...

Couple shots...matching watches, Rolexes and matching rings, Cartier...

    Goodbye Singapore...

    Halfway there...

An ice cream and coffee while at it...

    'It ain't how hard you hit;
it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward.
How much you can take, and keep moving forward.
    That's how winning is done.'

    Part 2...

We reached Hong Kong, checked in and ventured out...there were literally Rolex shops at every cluster of buildings and plenty of signage which Adam has shared before but this is the only one that I like the most...rotating Rolex clock and signage...

Even my wife though it was cool and took this pointing shot...

And how can you miss taking a wrist shot of the Victoria Harbour...

Even my wife joined in the fun...

First day and second day wasn't much of picture taking as our little girl was down with a flu...luckily she recovered fast and on the third day we spend most of the time shopping and sourcing for halal Chinese cuisine and roasted duck...

it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward.

      Part 3...

Fourth day was the highlight of this trip...Disneyland.

Oh Mickey you're so fine..you're so fine..you blow my mind..hey Mickey..!

      Yum yum...Mickey waffles...

      This is one interesting watch...

So much walking around exploring the Land...time for a break...cool ourselves down...someone is enjoying herself...

Wanted for demanding to have two ice-creams instead of half...

Much venturing around and time for another desert...she is really loving it...taking wrist shots...

        Part 4...

        Mickey ears...

        Well...

Of all the rides in Disneyland...this seem to be a clear favorite among the visitors...one of the longest queue lines...

And we wouldn't want to miss it either...

We stroll around the Land...waiting for time to catch the fireworks...

        Starting soon...

        Fire in the Sky...

And thus the end of our fantasy land trip to Disney...

          Part 5...

Fifth day...a trip to Victoria peak...Met up with this famous dude who taught me a move or two on how to protect my Deepsea...

The view up here is breathtaking and one of the most captured scene which I usually only see online...

Wifey decided to join in for a couple wrist shot...

Here...I was trying to recapture the famous Rolex Submariner advertisement however not with a Submariner or even a Submarine periscope...well...with limited props...this will have to suffice...

          I love you...

            Part 6...

We had lunch at the peak...and while waiting for our food...family wrist shot...

            Dining with a view...

            Yum yum...!

Our baby girl can't seems to sit down...she insisted that she wants to see the tram coming up...

We end lunch with something sweet...

We then went over to Causeway Bay to do more shopping...

After much shopping, we flagged a cab to bring us back to our hotel which is on the other side of Hong Kong island and the cab driver told us that traffic is madness in full force and reconfirmed with us if we still want to take his cab. After much discussion, we decided to take the train instead and he drop us at the train line towards the one that brings us to Jordan station without needing to change trains...

Coming from a busy city like Singapore where the trains are always packed..this is a sight that is ever so familiar...

              Finale...

              Sixth day...going home...

We checked out from our hotel, had a light lunch and made our way to the airport...boarded the plane...heading back home...

              Air shot...

Managed to finish a movie, Interstellar, because someone was sleeping through 3/4 of the flight...phew...

              Touch down...!!!

Hope you guys enjoyed my travelog...and if you made it this far, thanks.

              Cheers.

Nice holiday and I hope your family like the trip to Hong Kong. Nice shots on the Rollies and that reminds me about my coming trip to the place too. Last year went there and wrist shots were on the pams. This year hope for a change.
