  • Last purchase of 2014......FAT 1803

Jus landed this on 31 dec 2014......A FAT case......Almost NOS case.......3 mil serial......about early 70's...

Not bad for a 40+ years old watch....

Unfortunately the dial has been refurnished.......But the fat case to me makes up fot it.......

    Happy new year to all....Regards,P.

          Congrats to your new purchase.
However the 'Queen' Hallmark and '18K' engrave on the case back caught my attention.
The '18K' engrave seem to be bigger then it should be and it is in inverted position.
Also the 'Queen' Hallmark should be at the diagonal side (crown side)as well as the '18K' engrave.
Any experts care to correct me if I am wrong.
          attached photo from Google.

                Mate,
i doubt there is a fat case ever for 1803.
Only the '038 had a fat case.

I also see some gaps in between the dial and case in your pics.

Aside from this, plse let me know if you are selling the linen '038 becos my friend is looking to buy.

                Thanks cheers
