It is important to note the A and P series Daytona are known as the transitional ones, moving from non-SEL to SEL and from T dials to L dials and with the P series from Zenith to the Rolex movement. The two daytonas darkie showed are both the steel models which comes only in 2 standard dials aka white and black with baton markers.

The White gold daytona's main giveaway is the triangle markers on the bezel. With regards to dial variants, I tend to feel that the TT is most fun, being shipped in a variety of dials sharing the previllege with it fullgold and whitegold cousins. But if I'm not mistakened, the blackdial with red marking is exclusive to the whitegold pieces.

hi, when you say T dials to L dials, if the dial show a "T Swiss Made T" at the 6'o clock marker, is it a T dial or L dial?

Quite safe to say that T means T dial and L means L dial.

Hmmz a devil saying sorry? hmmzzz.. well T stands for Tritium which is a radioactive material which has got controversial studies stating negative health effects on those who handles them during manufacture and thus now firms now use L which stands for Luminova. One distinct difference is that T markers do age to a nice yellowish/brown platina and L markers kinda just stay how they are since day one.
